I am so sorry that I haven't been blogging lately. It's been a wild and zany month as I have been getting my real life house on the market. Then there was the car accident, a three-week bout with a heavy case of the flu, Holy Week, the 2013 Tom Bishop International Show in Chicago, and work life going full tilt. So, needless to say, I've have had my hands full.
My apologizes for not commenting on all your wonderful and amazing blogs. Everyone has been busy with such beautiful projects both large and small. I'm excited for all of you and hope to catch up on your blogs very soon. Keep going! You are all talented and amazing artists!
I am going to make this a short post, so I'll just post some pictures that show what I've been up to these past few weeks. My next post will have some pictures of Barton Cottage, as I can now return to work on that little project!

I spent a number of weeks--and a lot of blood, sweat, and tears (and curse words) --getting my house ready for sale. Oh little Victorian house...somewhere out there is a family who will love you just as much as I have.
Here's a few shots of the new kitchen I put in. I even sewed new curtains to add a dash of color.

And then the car accident. Thank goodness no one was hurt! But it was still scary for me and my poor little dog who was sitting in the back seat! He is ok though. Unfortunately, my Ford Focus didn't make it. Rest in peace my friendly faithful car.
But then there was something fun--the 2013 Tom Bishop International. What an amazing time! I would like to thank my loving partner. We went to Chicago together and he was so patient and supportive. Thank you, sweetie. You're the best partner ever! There were such amazing artists at the show. It was truly spectacular. We went and saw the Thorne Rooms at the Chicago Institute of Art too. AMAZAING!
